Mystery of Kashin Koji: The Connection Between Kashin Koji And Jiraiya
Mystery of Kashin Koji: The Connection Between Kashin Koji And Jiraiya
Although it is not Jiraiya, Kashin Koji's connection with
Konoha and his frog Kuchiyose may indicate he has a relationship with the Hippo
So far, the villains in the anime as well as the Boruto
manga there are some who have a relationship with the old character.
Call it Ryogi, which has a unique Kekkei Genkai Hyoton clan
like Haku Yuki. Or Shizuma Hoshigaki, who is a family with Kisame and ultimately
uses Samehada as well. The most obvious: Kinshiki and Momoshiki Otsutsuki have
connections with Kaguya Otsutsuki.
Well, in the manga version of Boruto comes a mysterious
figure that attracts attention. His name is Kashin Koji, a member of Kara's mysterious
organization.
The two factors fussed by Navers are as follows:
1) Has Relations with Konoha
"Hi no Kuni ... Konohagakure ... looks like I'm really
connected destiny to the village."
When it first appears, Kashin Koji looks like a completely
new character. But once he said those words, the interest of Boruto's readers
rose.
As soon as Koji pronounces it, it is clear that he has a
connection with Konoha. But what? Is he an old character who reappears with new
costumes? Or is it like Boruto and his friends, he is a descendant of the
famous shinobi?
2) His Kuchiyose is Frog
Kashin Koji's mystery is more interesting after the manga of
Boruto chapter 22. His Kuchiyose no Jutsu is a frog.
As far as the author's knowledge, those who have Kuchiyose
no Jutsu frogs are between Jiraiya or have a relationship with Jiraiya. There's
Minato Namikaze, who is clearly a member of Team Jiraiya. Then there is Naruto
Uzumaki, Minato's son who trained himself by Jiraiya.
In addition to the three of them, Kuchiyose no other Jutsu
frog users before Kashin Koji is Konohamaru.
Konohamaru is certainly a little bro of Naruto. So most
likely the contract with this frog is also done Konohamaru because it is
inspired from Naruto typical summon animals.
Indeed, it is conceivable that there is another figure who
contracts with the Myoboku Mountain frog in addition to Jiraiya, his students,
and the person who idolizes his pupils (such as Konohamaru). But still the
choice of Kashin Koji summon beast raises speculation. Especially when combined
with his words in the last chapter about Konoha.
3) Not Jiraiya, but
Most Possible to Have the Connections.
Ao is in one room with Inoichi Yamanaka and Shikaku Nara
when the shinobi headquarters are destroyed by Bijudama. But Ukyo Kodachi
magically decided to make Ao live again, though as an old man who had lost
almost all his fighting skills and was forced to use cyborgs and technology to
fight.
But the personal writer feels Kashin Koji is not Jiraiya.
This man looks too young, while Jiraiya even looks senior in the original
Naruto manga first. Ao alone already looks much older than when he was exposed
to Bijudama.
In addition, from the way he speaks there are also Koji
implications of himself not a shinobi. He asks if Ao is overpowered by emotion
as a former shinobi when the former guardian of Mei Terumi failed to prevent
Team 7 from escaping. Then Koji wonders if Ao saved Boruto from the Boiler Gama
boats because he wants to die honorably as a shinobi. This point of view does
not seem to be owned by someone who has long acted as a shinobi.
Basically, Koji sees himself as more of an assassin than a
shinobi. He still uses ninjutsu, but he does not think of honor of the fight,
but only finish the enemy as soon as possible. (That's actually more in line
with the real world ninja anyway).
I also doubt that Koji is an illegitimate son of Jiraiya. So
according to the author, if indeed Koji has a connection with Jiraiya, then he
could be a kind with the orphaned children Amegakure above: a figure who was
raised by Jiraiya until quite strong, then abandoned.
Unfortunately if this is true, then Koji will become one
more figure who after left Jiraiya just decided to be evil.
Well, what do you think it is? Is Koji the Jiraiya? The
offspring of Jiraiya? The child who was raised by Jiraiya and taught to fight?
